B8 did this play the spring before the 2017 Presidential Election, and at the time, an all-female gender-swapped cast handling Mamet’s “locker-room talk” dialogue was both edgy and timely. The wig I was given to design needed rehabbing, because it had been cut without being steamed flat first (you can see how ragged it was from the process pics!) and stored without washing the product out. I washed, detangled and steamed it flat, then cut it into a shape that would support the style I wanted (1985 big-hair office manager), THEN I set and styled it. At the fitting on the actor (Miia Ashley), the director had a hard time believing it was the same wig. <grin>
